There were four of us, and the room felt really uncomfortable. They gave us a bunk bed, which made the limited space even harder to manage. There’s no TV, so the stay wasn’t very pleasant on rainy days. It rained all three days I was there. The employees were kind and helpful, and breakfast was fine, but the price and quality didn’t match. They really need to improve the cleaning: there was a terrible amount of dirt under the beds, and lots of cobwebs in the bathroom.

I came hoping for peace, quiet, and nature, and the place gave me even more than I expected. The room was lovely, and everything was comfortable and well maintained. I’m so grateful for the excellent service. I’ll be back soon!

Everyone gave us excellent service, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with wonderful spaces throughout. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff were very attentive, and we took the boat safari with Emilio; everything went fine. Breakfast comes with toast, cakes, butter, dulce de leche, cream cheese, jam, coffee, milk, tea, hot water, and cocoa powder. There’s a breakfast area with board games, and the hotel has some thoughtful little things for children, like lollipops. The rooms are bright and airy, with a big window looking out over a hammock and the pool. There’s a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and a fan. But with the very large double bed and the single bed, there isn’t much room to move around. The Wi-Fi is weak, though enough to stay connected; with no TV, watching anything is difficult. There’s no outlet by the bed, so you have to choose between plugging in the bedside lamp or your phone. The shower has good pressure, but adjusting the temperature is a bit tricky. The wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap are awkward to dispense, and the sink isn’t very practical despite its “innovative” design. The cabinet also doesn’t work very well as a wardrobe. The parking area is small, and a van won’t fit if other vehicles are parked there.

The boat safari with Emilio was a real gem, though it was hard to find the dock. Staff were helpful and friendly to tourists, especially Noelia, Mariana, and the young man whose name I don’t know. The town is small enough to get around on foot, with restaurants across the street and on the next block. We ate at Don Marco, Yacuru Pora, and Café de los Pájaros; the food was excellent and inexpensive at all three. Café de los Pájaros has folk music gatherings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which are really nice, but the 9,000 pesos per person cover charge felt very expensive for the area. There’s no food at the hotel. The hotel is very nice, especially considering the town has no infrastructure development. Its dining room serves breakfast and has board games. Breakfast is laid out already: toast, puddings, butter, dulce de leche, cream cheese, jam, coffee, milk, tea, hot water, and cocoa powder. It’s very complete for me, though not the usual American-style hotel breakfast. Everything was delicious and left us full. The rooms are spacious, bright, and airy, with clean bedding, a blanket and comforter. We came in winter, though it wasn’t terribly cold. The mattresses were very comfortable, but one pillow was bad and the other good. The Wi-Fi is weak but works well enough to stay connected. In summer there’s air conditioning and a fan, and the space heater is sufficient for this area. The shower pressure is good and the water scalding hot, which was wonderful. I didn’t like the shampoo and conditioner, so I used my own. The pool and small balcony with hammock and chairs are lovely places to listen to birds. The furniture and minibar are practical. There’s no TV or outlet by the bed, so you have to plug in either the nightstand or your phone. Thanks for everything. We hope to come back.
