Alojamiento El Cardon

It’s a short walk into town, the place is very clean, and there’s live music at breakfast. The kitchen has just about what you need, though utensils are a bit limited. Our room was quite small, but you’re not really hanging out in it, are you? I really enjoyed staying here, and the price worked well for a family on a budget. Thanks for having us. The service seemed to vary depending on whether the lady or the man was on duty. With her, everything ran like clockwork; with him, it felt a bit more random. The bathroom layout was odd too. We had an ensuite, but the shower was in the middle, so water spread across the floor near the toilet and sink.

The hosts’ warm hospitality made us feel welcome right from the moment we arrived. We stayed here on our road trip around Salta, and it became a truly memorable part of it. The place feels authentic, with details that reflect the region’s rich culture, and the peaceful atmosphere was a lovely fit for our travels. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and soul of Salta!

The place felt pretty mediocre. They said breakfast was included, but all we got was coffee. The owner talked to us a lot, which made us uncomfortable. At night they lock the door and make you call to get back into the hostel, then in the morning ask where you’ve been. It left us feeling watched. The whole thing felt kind of dodgy and wasn’t worth the lower price.

I had a really enjoyable, quiet stay. It was clean, the bathroom had a nice hot shower, and the owner was very helpful. A little breakfast was included too.
