The cabins are stocked well and look just like the pictures. That's the truth. Here's what you'll have to put up with: it's not cheap, and the breakfast is incredibly paltry, though most breakfasts in Jujuy are too. You'll need to remind them several times to give you an invoice. They also tell you some cockamamie story about why the Wi-Fi never works: “This is a poor community. We only have one antenna. When it’s too windy the WiFi goes down in the whole town.” You believe them. Then a day later you move to another hostel, hotel, or cabin complex and you're streaming Ozark on your computer. Turns out the town has fiber optic cable.

We had to leave because there were bed bugs, and apparently they’d been there for a while. They were big, too. The owner didn’t tell us anything, though we did get our money back.

The room was really comfortable, and the bathroom has been renovated recently. Breakfast was excellent, and parking costs nothing. The hotel itself has a rustic feel and a good location, but the heating and air conditioning aren’t very good. Getting in could be difficult for someone with a disability: there are several steps and cobblestones at the entrance.

It might work for a single night, but the rooms are tiny and need some upkeep. Our toilet seat was broken and kept wobbling, and the wooden window wouldn’t open. Breakfast was just okay. The location is the best thing about it.

The central location is great, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, too. But our room was much smaller in person than it looked in the photos. With a king-size bed in a room for three, the beds were pushed together and we were practically sleeping on top of each other. There was barely room for our suitcases, so I wouldn’t choose it for a long stay. The street-facing sliding window had no lock and wouldn’t stay shut. It slid down on me, though luckily I wasn’t hurt. They checked it the next day and made a temporary repair. I don’t know whether they ever called the carpenter they said they needed. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room either. You have to ask at reception, and they’ll lend one only if they have one available.
