The included breakfast really is exceptional, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel feels so modern and contemporary that it almost clashes with the dusty backcountry town around it. That turns out to be a good thing if you're willing to spend a little more than a backpacker budget: you get a clean, fresh break from the dust and heat.

Walter, the owner, is attentive to every detail and takes care of whatever you might need. The rooms are comfortable and have Wi-Fi and TV, while the bathroom is clean and comfortable with excellent water pressure. An excellent place to stay in Tilcara. I'd definitely return.

The location is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly and respectful. Service is lovely, breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms have super-comfortable beds and pillows. There's heating and plenty of warm clothing. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was spectacular. We stayed one night, and although the hotel is very nice, our room had neither a TV nor Wi-Fi.
