Folk Hostel

The beds were pretty hard, though it didn't bother us too much. What really stood out was how clean everything looked, with staff cleaning constantly, and the kitchen was great and kept tidy by everyone. Breakfast was lovely too. The staff were helpful, friendly, and naturally funny. Honestly, this was the best hostel we stayed in.

Breakfast was good, and the building seems fairly new and is kept very clean. Still, the place felt a bit institutional to me, and I didn't find the staff especially friendly. The mattresses were rock hard. The location works if you're just staying overnight near the bus station, but for a longer stay I'd choose somewhere else.

The common areas were great, the rooms looked very clean, and the water pressure was amazing. Breakfast came with nice teas, and the bus stop was close by. But I couldn't sleep at all on the extremely hard, uncomfortable bed in our private room. The pillows were lumpy inside, and the room stayed very hot all night. Its window faced a dirt road where cars passed, and in the morning a tourist van sat idling right outside for an hour. We ended up moving to another hotel. With a better bed and newer pillows, a fan in the room, and cars asked not to idle outside guests' windows, this could be a great place to stay.

The hostel itself was clean, nice, and very social, and we had a good stay apart from one thing. The guy at reception made me and some friends uncomfortable by being a bit too friendly.
