The people working here were very helpful and willing to sort out whatever we needed. There’s a restaurant and bar on site, which is handy when you don't want to walk all the way into town for a beer. The place has a good night view, but getting there is easier with a car: town is about a 35-minute walk, not ten, and the walk from the bus station with big backpacks is long. The building feels worn and is very loud, with sound carrying everywhere. Breakfast was basic, and the beds were so short my feet hung over the edge at the ankles.

The hotel has a great view of the city, mountains, and Laguna Nimez. It's family run, and they really know how to look after guests. Service was great, and the restaurant served amazing food with plenty of vegetarian options. I highly recommend it for a visit to El Calafate.

The hosts are really, really nice and helpful, and I had a great time here. If you need a hair dryer, ask for one. They have proper ones!

The owner family was awesome and extremely friendly, gracias por todo! The hotel has an amazing view. It's a 30-minute walk or a 5usd taxi ride from el calafate center.
