Getting picked up for excursions right at the hotel was handy, and the location put us close to everything. Breakfast was pretty good too, with cold cuts like cheese and ham, fruit salad, desserts, toast, and yogurt. The room had some annoying practical issues: outlets were in odd places, so I had to unplug the TV and use an extension cord to charge my devices. The shower temperature kept shifting, as did the amount of water coming out.

The location is perfect, and for a short stay the hotel works well enough. It’s an old place with limited services, though. I asked for a beer in the lobby and was told they only serve breakfast. There’s room for improvement, but it was a decent compromise for a brief visit.

Hotel Kapenke has a warm, homey feel, and every corner seems thoughtfully put together. My room was spotless and well kept, and the service was friendly, professional, and ready to help. The price was very reasonable too. Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in across Argentina, this is easily the most charming. A truly lovely stay, and I’d recommend it.

The staff were very nice, parking was available, and the location was great. The breakfast, though, was minimal. My room felt old and rickety, the bed wasn’t especially comfortable, and the bathroom door was hard to slide either way. Noise was another problem: the walls were thin, so I could hear other guests walking through the halls.
