Terraza Coirones Hotel

The shuttle schedule made the remote location even harder to deal with. They only run into town at the top of the hour for limited hours, and there are no rides back. The view is nice, but there's just one balcony with two chairs for the whole building. The room was nothing like the photos. The furniture was dated, worn, and stained, and what was called a queen bed was two twins pushed together with a dip in the middle. There was no fridge or hot water maker, so the room offered less than places in town. Dinner was bad and overpriced, and they charged each person an extra utensil fee just to eat there. Breakfast was described in glowing reviews, but it was basic: bread, store-bought pastries, three kinds of cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs, and Tang juice. Even the drip coffee wasn't good. Not worth it.

The room was large and clean, and the bathroom was good. Breakfast was average. The blankets on the bed, though, weren't good ☹️.

The bright spots were the breakfast and the friendly staff. The room was a real letdown. We paid to upgrade to a lake view but ended up in a basement room, with a window opening onto the lawn where the lake could be seen. It looked nothing like the photos in its layout, furniture, or general condition. We spoke with another guest the next morning, and she felt the same way.

The hotel and balcony have a stunning view, and every staff member gave outstanding service. Inside and out, it's a very nice place, and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a bit far from the little center with its restaurants and other places to eat. The only issue in the room was an overpowering smell from the cleaning product.
