We had two dinners here. For hotel guests, breakfast is incredible too, with high-quality yoghurt and lots of toppings, homemade jams, and delicious fresh pastries. Dinner had its hits and misses: the bread they bring as a complimentary snack is an absolute killer, the fresh salad with sweet roasted seeds was great, and the leek soup was delicious. Our favourite was the steak, the most tender meat we had in Patagonia, with fantastic potato crust. The hummus presentation was lacking and it tasted a little bland to us. The trout was good, though a bit dry. By El Chalten standards, it's a great-value restaurant, convenient for hotel guests and just a little off the main road for visitors.

We got here just before they close for winter, and were the only guests. The service was really attentive. We had a starter, steak, and trout, and everything was perfect. Recommend!

The egg and salad were really good, and the atmosphere was nice. The lady at reception was extremely friendly, too. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what I'd hoped for: the steak I ordered medium was rubbery enough to make my jaw ache, and the waiter had some attitude.

The chef bakes a different kind of bread each day and serves it warm, which was a lovely touch. Service was outstanding, warm and attentive, and we felt looked after throughout dinner. The restaurant and its chef gave us an exceptional meal, with dishes that were professionally prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. Eating here was on another level compared with everything else we experienced in El Chaltén. A truly elevated way to enjoy the beauty of El Chaltén. Highly recommended!

The setting felt upscale and the service was excellent, but the menu was limited and the food just okay for the price. The Pisco Sour was the best part of the meal.
