The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was cleaned very well. The location is good, though it’s a small village and everything is easy to reach. WiFi worked. There was mold under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom, plus water damage on the bedroom ceiling. PLEASE FIX THIS, IT’S A HEALTH HAZARD. The pool area was nice, but so hot that we were sweating just sitting there in swimwear, both in the water and in the resting area. The pool water wasn’t filtered and had lots of particles floating around. The room and pool felt like one sauna, so we didn’t need the sauna. Not the hotel’s fault, but be aware it’s very noisy. We had to sleep with earplugs because we could hear everyone talking and moving around.

The kids loved cooling off in one of the only heated indoor pools in town after hiking. The apartments fit our family of 5, and the included breakfast buffet was satisfying. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and offered guidance on excursions, the park, restaurants, porter services, and more.

The location is fantastic, with lots of hiking options in the immediate area. Staff were friendly and the rooms were decent. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better.

We stayed twice because this hotel was much better value than the other options in El Chalten. It was clean and warm, with comfortable beds. The pool was lovely for a swim and a relaxing break on a rainy day. The bread at breakfast was delicious, though the rest of the breakfast was very basic.

The location is nice, but El Chaltén is small and almost every hotel has a nice location. I wouldn’t stay here unless they renovate the whole property. Everything is broken and dirty, and some rooms have a disgusting smell. Using the toilet and bathroom feels like something you have to force yourself to do. Breakfast was terrible, even compared with other places in Argentina, where breakfast is really bad compared with continental Europe.
