Patricia takes such good care of her guests, and she's a wonderfully kind and helpful hostess. Breakfast is homemade and tasty. The room was okay. The doors sometimes took a try or two to open or close, and the thin walls meant we heard neighbors coming and going. The pillows are thin, but there are four in the room, which helps. The shower was hot, with good pressure. A mirror outside the bathroom and some art on the wall would make it feel more welcoming. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you're a sound sleeper. 💜

Patricia and the owners made the stay. Their warmth felt like coming home after being away for ages, and I’d happily return if I’m ever back in El Chalten. The hotel is built for hikers: rooms are roomy enough to spread out your gear without moving bags around, and they stayed comfortable despite the fast-changing weather. Hot water was always there too. Breakfast was filling and healthy, with a different homemade cake each morning. Nothing fancy, but it worked well.

The owners were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the room was comfortable with a hot shower any time of day. Breakfast had plenty to choose from: fruit in glasses, toast, coffee, milk, tea, ham and cheese, eggs, jam, plus a different homemade cake each day. The location was very good. It does cost a bit much for what you get compared with Europe, though that seems to be how things are in El Chalten.

Everyone we dealt with was kind and accommodating, and we’d gladly come back and recommend the place. The sit-down breakfast was fantastic. One day we couldn’t make breakfast, so they packed a generous amount of food for both of us to take along, which really helped on our hike. They also gave us great advice on hikes and helped arrange some travel.

El Chaltén was our favorite stop on a two-week Patagonia trip, and the caring, friendly hotel staff were a big part of that. From arrival, they treated us like family, offered lots of advice, and arranged our shuttle to the Rio Electrico Laguna de Los Tres trailhead. We loved being near the main drag, and the mountain view from our room was spectacular.
