La Recova Hotel & Spa

The hotel facilities were excellent, and the spa was marvelous. Thank you, Zulma, for all your attention. Mariano at reception did a fantastic job and made our stay incredible. Benjamin in the restaurant gave us a wonderful dinner, with attentive service and helpful advice, and Jessica always left our room spotless and comfortable. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely return. Thanks to everyone.

La Recova was a 10/10 for us. We wanted comfort, amazing views, and warm service, and found all three. The staff are the hotel’s biggest asset: reception was always friendly and ready to answer questions or offer local tips, the restaurant team was exceptionally attentive at every meal, and housekeeping was impeccable and quiet. The location in La Punta is hard to beat. You can enjoy the peace of the San Luis mountains while staying just minutes from the capital and attractions like the National Park. It’s a great base for visiting Potrero de los Funes, the Volcano, Nogoli, El Trapiche, and La Carolina. Facilities combine classic and modern style and are top-notch. Rooms are spacious and bright, with spectacular mountain views, and the pool and fitness area are immaculate. We’ll be back!

The pool was really nice, clean, and comfortable, with green areas, and the breakfast was high quality and super complete, a 10 out of 10. There’s also a pool table, video game consoles, and a children’s playroom. The spa is tucked away, which makes it peaceful. We were able to have afternoon tea and dinner with friends who weren’t hotel guests, then show them our room and the surrounding area, and no one minded. The hotel is elegant and has quality amenities and technology. The person who handled our luggage and parked our car, and later saw us off, was helpful, respectful, and friendly. They have special offers with Banco Nación cards. The bar is very well-stocked. My one criticism is that the waiters, who also work at breakfast, are a bit grumpy and slow-witted. The waiter upstairs in the restaurant was excellent.

There’s a lot to do here, including an indoor pool, gym, game room, spa, and covered parking. The hotel is close to many tourist attractions in San Luis. Rooms are beautiful and come with air conditioning, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and a coffee maker. The restaurant is open to the public, serves very good food, and has reasonable prices. Excellent service.
