Edu was fantastic when he checked us in. The units are about 10 blocks from the center and near the beach, and have a full kitchen, bathtub, Wi-Fi, and an alarm system. The complex is clean and well kept, with a roomy park, a shared pool and sun deck, plus a grill and private garden for each unit. Parking out front is first come, first served. Our three-person room worked fine for the two of us. It was small, but well equipped and laid out nicely. They provide linens, cleaning, and fresh towels. In the mornings they left croissants and bread, and at check-in we were offered different teas and coffees. They also let us check out late for $25,000.

We had such a lovely stay, thanks! The place is beautiful and a great spot to relax. Housekeeping was very good, breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent, friendly, and attentive whenever we needed something. It's close to everything.

The owner's kindness was the one bright spot. We arrived at night and had no water until we figured out the tap had been turned off. The smell and dirt were what stood out most. The photos showed something quite different from the actual place, and everything was dirty. When it rained, water came in so badly that in one part of the apartment we had to lay towels on the floor to catch it. We reported the leak, but nobody did anything. We wouldn't recommend staying here, and won't come back.

The cabins were nice enough and clean, and the owner was very attentive. Getting to the beach on foot is a long walk. The streets in Las Gaviotas have very loose sand, so if you're driving a truck, pick your route carefully or you might get stuck.
