America Hotel

Just okay.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel’s shared spaces look very nice. The rooms, though, are quite basic and could use some maintenance. Breakfast felt limited, with no cheese, eggs, or fruit. Noise was the biggest problem for me. The elevator is loud, people shout in the street, and cars scrape their bumpers on the ditch at the corner all day. The rooms barely block any sound. You can hear even a coin dropping in the next room, and it’s hard to sleep at night.

The location is excellent, but I found the hotel itself bad. It feels old throughout. Our double room had two single beds pushed together, and the bathroom was small and dated. There’s no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. The walls are thin enough that conversations from other rooms carry clearly. Breakfast was all bread and pastries, with not even ham or cheese. They came in to clean, but only swept, and the sheets weren’t changed. The price matches the level of service.

The staff were the best part, from reception through housekeeping. Everyone was helpful and very friendly, though I only know Facundo’s name. The location is excellent. The room itself is basic, with a ceiling fan but no air conditioning. It’s a decent hotel that gets the job done.
