AMANCIO Hotel & Cabañas

We had a wonderful 10-night holiday in cabin number 1 with our three kids, and we'd gladly come back. There was plenty to do, including biking and kayaking, even during the very cold days. The staff were always around and ready to help. We did have some hot-water trouble during the first few days, but maintenance took care of it. I only wish the pool had been heated or warmer.

We loved the food at the restaurant, especially the local dishes, and everything was spotless and in great shape. From our room we could look out over the lake, and the quiet there was just what we wanted. The staff were warm, attentive, and happy to help, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. This is our favorite place in Neuquén, and we're already thinking about our next visit.

The people here treated us like family, from the first person we met to the last. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and in a great spot. We found Villa Meliquina by chance on a rainy day and thought we'd return someday. Then we had to cancel our booking for the last few days of that trip, so we ended up coming back sooner than planned. We got some gorgeous sunny days by the lake, kayaking and paddleboarding, then relaxing on the shore in the lounge chairs and under the umbrellas. Definitely recommend it, and we'll be back.

Direct access to the beach, plus the lounge chairs and umbrellas, made the location even better. We had a lovely few days here as a family. The room was great and the hotel was spotless. Niti was wonderful from the time we first asked about a reservation, and the rest of the team were lovely too, especially Leonela, Julieta, and Emilia, the restaurant's cook. Emilia makes delicious food and is so friendly. We recommend it and hope to return!
