Hotel Cervantes

I stayed three nights, and the breakfast was as good as, maybe better than, the breakfasts at the other three Mendoza hotels I've stayed in. It's an old place, but clean, with everything seeming to work. The location is right in the center, there's a beautiful garden, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. What a gem!

The street gets loud at night, with noisy cars and motorbikes, though the area is very walkable if you pick your streets. The hotel restaurant, Sancho, has a decent menu, and there are also cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It's a charming hotel in Mendoza, with comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

The room wasn't great. We could clearly hear our neighbor using the toilet, if you know what I mean. Breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly, spoke English, and were happy to exchange dollars for pesos. It's an old hotel that was probably very nice in its heyday.

I've been here for three weeks so far, and the service has been wonderful. My room is clean and organized, and the front desk and restaurant staff are friendly. The food is excellent, the price is reasonable, and the self-service breakfast has plenty of fresh, good options. There's no city view, but the hotel is only half a block from downtown Mendoza and a few steps from car rental places. I'd recommend Hotel Cervantes to friends and business associates.
