If you're after luxury and can afford it, this isn't the place for you. It's an average hotel, with small, basic rooms for sleeping and using the bathroom. For a quick stop, though, it's inexpensive, well located, and the modest breakfast is complete.

I've been to expensive hotels that were awful, but this one takes the cake. It's filthy, the beds are old and hard, and the pillows are so hard they give you a headache. There are no curtains on the windows, which is something to keep in mind if you're traveling as a couple. The shower's hot water turns cold after just two minutes, and there's no air conditioning. The TV is ancient and only 12 inches; the fan has push-button controls, so you can't adjust the temperature. Breakfast was poor and bad, with juice so watered down it's practically umbrella juice, and the breakfast area was dirty. Parking costs extra, and they suggest installing an alarm in your car (??). The rules seem like they were written by a military officer. Read them, see photo 4. Don't go.

A disaster. There wasn't even a window in the room, the air conditioning didn't work, and the fan was tiny. They'd offered to have breakfast ready earlier, but it wasn't prepared when we had to leave. It's expensive for what they provide. We've stayed in better places in the same city for similar prices.

The staff were okay, and being downtown was convenient, but I wouldn't pay this price for the stay. The mattresses are hard, the bathroom floods, and the towels are so rough they feel like they scrape your skin. The place has a hospital feel. I can't recommend it.

The rooms were roomy and really comfortable, and the service was excellent. It's also very close to the main square. I keep being impressed by how warm and friendly people in Mendoza are. It's one of the provinces I'd say is worth visiting.
