San Antonio

I came away feeling relaxed and completely disconnected. Everything was beautiful, and the owners were so lovely, checking that I was comfortable the whole time. I’ll definitely come back!

The houses are spacious and very well equipped, with a pool and a lovely big park. There are two of them, sleeping four and five people, and they’re set well apart for extra privacy. The owners kept in touch while we were on the way and welcomed us warmly. It’s only a few kilometers from Mercedes on Route 19, with easy access even in rainy weather. We’ll make this our regular rest stop on the trip from Chascomús to Pampa de los Guanacos.

Betiana and Juan took care of every detail, and their service was excellent. The cabin is spacious and has all the comforts and things you need, even though you’re surrounded by nature. It’s a beautiful spot in San Antonio for enjoying wildlife and bird photography. Our one regret is booking just one night. We’ll be back for longer.

We came with two girls, aged 5 and 8, and they had plenty to do without Wi-Fi or TV. They played freely in the park with the owner’s son. The place feels safe, very safe. Juan is kind and easy to talk to, almost like a friend. I hope the place grows while keeping its simple, beautiful spirit. The ad calls it a country retreat rather than a hotel, and that’s a good description. We stayed in the smaller of the two houses. It’s simple, cozy, lovely, and has incredible views, everything needed for cooking, and a town about 1 km away if you want to buy something. The bed was super comfortable, and the sheets and towels were spotless. It’s a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy simple things like the countryside, a book, or mate. Bring some meat for a barbecue if you can, it’s fantastic. I stayed four days after arriving for two. The pool was immaculate, and the park had lots of trees and perfectly mowed grass. I don’t know how it is in the rain, but in sunny January weather it was incredible, with a gentle breeze all day. There are two small countryside ponds. We visited in the late afternoon and saw capybaras and all kinds of birds, then owls, viscachas, and hares on the way back. It’s a great place to go for a run.
