Hotel Cabanas del Parque

I've stayed at this hotel twice now. The grounds are green, beautiful, and incredibly peaceful, and the staff were very attentive. My standard double room was comfortable, and the bathroom was simple but worked fine. There was no TV in the room. The hotel told us that before we booked, though I still think one would be a nice addition. Other than that, I have no complaints and really enjoyed my vacation.

A great place for a family trip, with plenty of grounds to enjoy and a large pool set apart from the cabins so people can relax without being disturbed. You can park beside your cabin, and the restaurant serves a wide, delicious menu. Everything was just right and close by, including the Nations Fair next door.

The rooms were covered in cobwebs, and the bedside lamps didn't work. Dinner was another mess: the restaurant was advertised, but when we arrived at 5 PM they said they were fully booked. They didn't offer alternatives or help us find somewhere to order food. We waited until 10 PM, then I had to go into town to find something to eat. They stopped answering my questions and said they were busy. Paying 175,000 pesos for two adults, a baby, and a child was disgraceful. Breakfast was meant to start at 7 AM, but when we came down at 7:30 there was nothing left except more juice and a few slices of cheese. They should be ashamed.
