Cabañas Tatá & La Emilia

We arrived to a spotless, tidy cabin, and the staff and owners deserve a 10 out of 10 for that. The manager was attentive and very helpful with every detail. It’s a comfortable, family-friendly spot close to everything, and the running track was great for those of us who enjoy sports. We’ll be back soon, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy Potrero de los Funes.

The location is convenient, with everything nearby, and the place looks picturesque. Sadly, it’s badly neglected. They advertise two pools, but there’s only one, and it’s much too small for the number of cabins. The spaces are cramped, with beds pushed together. The old mattresses and pillows smelled musty, and the worn sheets were transparent and had holes. It was also lacking in cleanliness and didn’t have what was advertised. When I raised the problems with the owner, she argued instead of trying to resolve them. I’m never going back. Terrible.

The two cabins I rented were very clean and smelled lovely. We were so pleased with the service that we extended our stay beyond the dates we’d booked. We were happy with everything.

My family and I spent two nights in cabin 4, and it was a truly forgettable stay. The toilet leaked, and its flush button was a soda bottle cap. The place smelled filthy, the mattresses were old and piled up, and the stained carpet looked like it had who-knows-what on it. The sheets were stained and see-through. The indoor pool had such a strong chlorine smell that it felt like going in would poison you. It deserves zero stars.
