The location worked well for us. It’s not in the center, but still nearby. The pool seemed popular while we were there, though we didn’t use it. The rooms are basic but do the job, and the linens were clean. A few things were broken, including the mirror and end table, and fixing those small things would make a difference.

The beds were really comfortable, and the showers were roomy with a strong flow of hot water. There are bedside tables and storage space too, despite what some comments say. The rooms are nice, but there’s a strong damp smell that gets into your clothes and even your nose. Being in the jungle may explain it, but it should still be addressed, especially for people with allergies or asthma. It really feels like you’re staying in the middle of the jungle, and the service was excellent, with staff paying close attention. The Wi-Fi didn’t reach the rooms, which they blamed on how many people were using it. The TVs also didn’t tune in properly.

Breakfast and the pool were both very good, and the staff were attentive with excellent service. The place itself is beautiful and really does feel like a jungle hotel. The rooms were a little bare and could have used better cleaning and ventilation. One bed hadn’t been made, and there was no bedside table.

We were a family group of 11 and took the half-board option. Dinner was included, varied each day and delicious, and breakfast was very good too. The service, friendliness, food and excursion arrangements all added a lot to our vacation. The grounds are spacious and full of lovely greenery, with a great pool. Our room was also large, as was the bathroom, so it worked well with the kids. The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly, but the room felt neglected, with a few broken and unpainted things. It seemed a bit run down. It’s a lovely place to disconnect, and I highly recommend it.
