O2 Hotel Iguazú

The location is very good, and the staff were polite and professional. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a spacious bathroom. The towels were worn and should be replaced. Breakfast and the hotel's facilities are at the lower end of a 4-star standard, though still acceptable for a comfortable stay.

It's easy to find pubs and restaurants within a few minutes' walk because the hotel is in the town center. The staff are friendly and helpful. The design is contemporary and functional, but construction quality is below average, and the room decor looks like it cost almost nothing.

The staff were super helpful and spoke English, and the location is excellent, right among the bars and restaurants in the centre of Puerto Iguazu. Iguazu falls, the national park, and both airports are easy to reach. Two things stood out in our room: in the morning, there was a cigarette smoke smell if we left the bathroom door open, presumably from nearby smoking rooms. Soundproofing between rooms was also very limited. We heard EVERYTHING 😬🥰💦😂

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is modern, with lots of exposed concrete and a large atrium, and the rooms are arranged around it. Our room was comfortable rather than fancy, with a good bathroom. Rooms ending in 01 or 14 are at the front corners and have incredible views on two sides. There's also a good buffet breakfast and a wonderful rooftop bar, restaurant, and swimming pool, with amazing views over the meeting point of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. At night, you can see a light show on the giant Ferris wheel beside the new, unopened bridge from Brazil to Paraguay. The hotel is one short block from downtown, near the town's high point. Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, has a pedestrian downtown area with lots of restaurants and shops. The falls are a short distance away, and you can arrange visits to both the Argentina and Brazil sides. The falls are spectacular. Staff were helpful and spoke English.
