The beds were the reason for my three-star rating. The foam mattress in our room had clearly seen a lot of use and really needed replacing. Our friends had a double room with a decent mattress, though, so it may vary. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the neighborhood was nice, with reasonable access to downtown. Breakfast was good, with coffee, juice, milk, bread, fruit, cake, and more. Parking is on the street, but a night watchman keeps an eye on the cars.

The rooms were good enough for a three-star hotel, and breakfast was excellent. The only problem was that I couldn’t get the hot water system working.
