Hotel Alonso

The price was 2,500ars, though it seemed the real price was 1,700ars. At that usual price you can get very nice hotels in Argentina. The room had dirty bedsheets, a shower that was hard to turn off, and poor soundproofing. Its only window faced the corridor, so we heard conversations and children crying, and smoke came in. Breakfast was just a croissant, tea, and instant coffee.

Affordable and simple, with lovely, friendly staff.

For what you pay, everything else is in line with the price, and it’s more than enough for one night. The hotel is quite old, but it and the room are clean, and it’s worth the price. Reception and dining room staff are very friendly. They serve breakfast, though you can’t expect more than that. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out because my room was far away, and the TV is as old as the hotel, so in my opinion it’s time to replace it.

The food is simple but delicious, and when I leave before dinner they make me a sandwich for the trip. I come here often and always choose this hotel because the staff are respectful and friendly, and the rooms are adequate. It’s much better service than I’ve had as a guest at other hotels. Thank you.
