What stood out was how much the owner cared. He shared tips and information, arranged a cab for us, and even lent us money when our bus arrived late at night so we could find somewhere for dinner. The rooms were kept very clean. The hostel is near the bus station and around 10-15 minutes from the main square.

We were very pleased with our three days here. The service was great, especially from the hardworking young receptionist and the extremely friendly, helpful owner, who spoke good English. We could leave our luggage there while we were away. I usually book ahead on Booking.com, but for this place paying directly was much cheaper.

It's close to the bus station, and the hostel stays quiet at night. Our rooms were clean, and Ignacio gave us lots of useful tips about Salta and the region, doing everything he could to make the stay pleasant. We could leave some belongings in a locker while exploring, just bring your own lock.

The location is very good, and the hostal has a kitchen, comfortable beds, and clean facilities. The woman at the counter in the afternoon was very nice. The man working in the morning wasn't especially attentive, which is why I'm giving it four stars.

I arrived late and left early, so I can't say much about the hostel. The bed was comfortable, and the room had its own separate shower. Simple, but good.
