The location on Cerro Catedral is beautiful. Unfortunately, that was the only good part of the cabin. Maia Arcidia gave us a different cabin from the one we’d paid for, and the facilities were in poor shape, with some things not working. The person in charge was rude and unhelpful when we raised it. Very disappointing service.

It’s a typical Bariloche cabin, with wood and other features, and breakfast is included. The place is very quiet, three blocks from the main street, below Cerro Catedral with a lovely view. The rooms are comfortable and have radiant heating, and the cleanliness is excellent. Highly recommended.

The apartments are attractive, well equipped, and very comfortable. Villa Catedral is a great base for reaching the hill and hiking nearby. Outside peak season, it’s a good idea to check which services are open in the village.
