Hostal del Sol

The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to sort out any issues. The price was reasonable, the location excellent, and the half-board meals were fine for what we paid. Still, I wouldn't come back. The hotel overall is run-down, with old rooms, TVs that don't work right, dated heating, and walls badly in need of paint. The pool area needs more maintenance too. Sheets and mattresses are old and should be replaced, and the bathrooms have poor ventilation and unpleasant smells. After a thermal bath, you can't rinse off the minerals properly because the only hot water is thermal water. And in 2025, having no Wi-Fi in any room or common area is unacceptable. The internet never worked. It's a shame, since the place could be beautiful with better upkeep, fresh paint, cleanliness, and decent furniture.

I had to cancel for personal reasons, and I did so 48 hours ahead within the legal terms. I had already paid half the stay, but when they returned my deposit two months later, they kept 20%.

The service from the hotel staff was excellent, and breakfast was very good. For dinner, the homemade pasta was delicious and worth recommending, but the meat was tough, so I wouldn't choose it. The shower's thermal water was wonderful, although the pool felt a little cold. The rooms are quite dated, from the mattresses to the TVs and air conditioners. The hotel is as described, but the price doesn't feel right when there are cheaper places with better service. Wi-Fi was terrible and didn't work.

I came with my baby and they provided a crib. The room was spacious and really comfortable. I hadn't expected much after reading most of the reviews, so the stay was a pleasant surprise.
