Hosteria Las Tinajas

We spent six nights here and felt comfortable the whole time. The room had a kitchenette, private bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, and TV. Both it and the shared spaces were very clean, and the staff were helpful. It's a little way from the center, though the main square is only a five-minute walk, so you can enjoy some quiet.

Breakfast and daily cleaning, including fresh linens, are included in the price, and there's private parking too. We also had access to a patio, grill, and dining room. The place is lovely, with excellent rooms and staff, and it's well located away from the crowds. Great value, I'd highly recommend it.

The location worked well for me: a few blocks from the main square but far enough from the city center bustle. There is parking, and some rooms have fully equipped kitchens. Hot water and shower pressure were good, though it didn't last long. Breakfast staff were excellent, but there wasn't much choice. They do offer rice cakes for gluten-free guests. I had several problems with the room. The windows are small, so the rooms are very dark, and one window even looks onto an interior hallway. The air conditioning in mine didn't work, so we were cold at night. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom, plus a strong smell on the blankets from the soap they use. I also contacted them on WhatsApp about my concerns and never got a reply. For the price, it's okay.

The owner was really kind and even drove us after our taxi canceled. The rooms were comfortable, the service excellent, and breakfast was good. The location is fine, although it's not right in the center. I'd recommend staying here.
