Cabañas del Beagle

The beds felt a bit hard to me, though I noticed the same in other places, so perhaps it’s common in the region. Still, these chalets are a bit of a gem: they’re away from the tourist bustle, with views of the beagle channel and a wood-burning fireplace. The owner brings fresh bread every day, and the chalets have basic essentials stocked. There’s even a jetted tub in the bathroom.

The hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I spent a month and a half in Argentina several years ago, and this place remains one of the most memorable spots from that trip, or any other. The way they used found, natural, and recycled materials was the best I’ve seen anywhere. Just incredible.

There’s plenty of privacy here, even though the chalets are very close to the city center. They’re incredibly comfortable, with distinctive, original architectural details, plus a hot tub, fireplace, and glorious view.

The bay view is stunning, and the cabin is both beautiful and comfortable, with lovely decorative touches. The service was excellent and warm. We stayed ten days and would definitely come back.
