Mirador del Beagle Hosteria

We got a very warm welcome, and our room was nice, with a small fridge and an excellent view. The place sits beautifully on a hill. Breakfast was toast with jam or dulce leche, several kinds of tea, and good coffee. Be ready to take a taxi, which is reasonably priced, or use Uber in Ushuaia. Otherwise, your calves will get a workout.

The view from up there was beautiful, and we loved having a nice kitchen to cook in. The beds were comfortable and the hot water was good. The whole team was excellent, kind, and helpful. We spent a full week at Hosteria Mirador del Beagle and had a great time. This was our first stop in Argentina, and we could’ve saved money if we’d understood the different exchange rates and how Argentine currency works. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Hosteria to friends and family!

The owner was lovely, and the place is beautiful, with an incredible view over the Magellan Strait. There’s a big living room and a well-equipped kitchen. It’s a bit far from town, but the views make the sweaty uphill walk worthwhile.

The location is beautiful, with a view over the beagle channel, just as the name suggests, and the staff are very friendly. It’s quite a way from the center, though, about a 30-minute walk or a taxi ride. The hotel owner gave me a lift down once, which was very nice.
