The outdoor area by the pool was pleasant and looked like the photos, and the owner's mother was very friendly. Inside, though, hygiene and maintenance were deplorable. There were cobwebs everywhere and the house hadn't even been swept. Furniture was in poor shape, lights were missing, doors wouldn't close, and fans were practically hanging over the bed. There were cracks and peeling paint, and the mattresses were dirty and in bad condition. The bathroom constantly smelled like sewage or a septic tank. On the first night we started finding cockroaches, and while I was asleep a scorpion stung me. I ended up in the hospital. The owner's son wasn't friendly. He refused to take responsibility for anything, kept our deposit, and assaulted us. Because of how violent he was, we had to leave for our safety. The neighbors clearly knew him and came out to help us right away. A true nightmare.

There’s room for three cars behind a security gate. Inside, the closets are spacious, and having a water filter is a great extra. It was very comfortable.

Maria José, who handed us the keys and lives in the back, is by far the best Catalan woman in the world. A big kiss to her if she reads this! We went for a bachelorette party, and nobody made a fuss when we played loud music or stayed up late. The house was spacious and comfortable for a weekend away. There’s lots of room indoors and out, a fairly large pool, and plenty of chairs and lounge chairs. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

There’s lots of space for large groups, with two simple houses, a pleasant green area, a grill, and a pool. The location is great, just outside Carlos Paz and two blocks from the main avenue. It could use more attention to detail, and the cleanliness and upkeep need improvement.

The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with several shops nearby. Maria Jose, who lives in the back house, welcomed us warmly and even baked cakes for our mate. Eric answered all our questions before we rented. We're still here, and the kids, aged 1, 3, and 7, are loving the large pool. The house is spacious and comfortable, fully equipped with kitchen and laundry supplies, and has lots of green space outside and a covered carport. We came as a family of five, my husband, our three children, and me. Highly recommended!
