La Posada de Lilia

The staff were very friendly, but that wasn't enough when what we got was so far from what had been offered. We were so uncomfortable that we left a day early, even though we'd paid for the full stay and for *amenities that didn't exist*. We still haven't received an invoice for the amount we paid, only a receipt. We ended up spending much more than planned because cooking became overpowering. The apartment wasn't ready when we arrived on the first day. We were told the previous guests had checked out very early but *had missed their turn*, and no one had come to fix the *small humidity problem*. The kitchen had unpleasant odors from that issue, and there was a small anthill on the wall facing it. A breakfast bar in the kitchen collapsed with even a little weight on it, and a vent on the counter let water in, despite there having been only a little rain one day. The kitchen had just two induction burners and no oven, which made things harder. Having a kitchen was crucial to our choice when booking. There was almost no natural light in the room, just a row of transparent bricks. The bathroom was literally less than a meter wide. My husband and I are 1.60 and 1.80 tall, and we could barely use the toilet without hitting the sink. Showering and getting out meant maneuvering around those obstacles. There was a table with two chairs between the breakfast bar and the bed, but the place was so small that when we tried to eat, one of us had to sit on the bed while the other used a chair.

The owners make this place feel so welcoming, and it has everything you need to be comfortable and unwind. It’s beautiful and has a bit of magic to it. I’ve stayed more than once and will keep choosing it whenever I visit the village.

The owner was friendly and really attentive, and there’s plenty nearby: a supermarket, the beach resort four blocks away, and the city center eight blocks away. Our room was small, but cozy and very well kept, with a kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning, and TV. A pleasant stay.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the place itself is beautiful. Great location, too. Vivi gave us such warm, friendly service!
