Complejo Sakura

We had a fantastic four-day stay. It felt very safe, with a closed garage and a security guard on duty all night. The pool was excellent, and the water was just right for unwinding after the beach. The place was very clean, and it’s easy to get to the beach. The location works well too, close enough to the center to walk. Breakfast was quite basic, though adding some fruit and yogurt would be easy. You can see they’re putting in a lot of effort, and the complex has real potential. Wishing them luck and continued growth.

The helpful manager, proximity to the sea, heated pool, and covered parking were positives. Still, I travel a lot, and the poor value for money made this feel short of a 4-star place. Maintenance was lacking in the furniture, kitchen, and windows, there was a smell from the pipes, and noise from other apartments carried a lot. My ocean-view room cost US$180 per day, but dunes and the windows blocked the view, and the glass was dirty with sea salt. Breakfast was basic. The 4 PM check-in and 10 AM check-out really caught my attention. With improvements or a lower price, it could be a good place to stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation for New Year’s Eve 2025, and it was easy to get around on foot. The resort has direct beach access and is only eight blocks from town, so we didn’t need the car. The beds were very comfortable, and the double-glazed windows held up fine through two very windy storms. Cleanliness was good, and the heated pool was lovely, though it has no direct access from the hotel or solarium. The view is beautiful, but it’s a shame the windows needed cleaning. The place has a lot of potential but is poorly maintained. The kitchen was short on utensils, though they brought me what I asked for without any problem. Breakfast could be better. It’s clear they’re working hard to improve, and they seem willing to make changes.

Service was good, 7/10, and the location was excellent, 10/10. The pool gets 10/10 too, though it’s far from the apartment entrance and we were freezing, so bathrobes are needed. Breakfast was 5/10. The complex was average to low quality, with poor general maintenance in the apartments and building. The windows were fogged up and obstructed the view.
