Hotel Rideamus

The biggest issue for me was how much noise carried around the hotel. You could hear everything from other rooms and the hallway, including children running around from 7 am, doors slamming, and the cleaning staff talking outside rooms. I wouldn't choose it for a restful break. That's beyond the hotel's control to some extent, but I hated it. I've never had that experience at other hotels. I'd suggest a short weekend or one night. The room was small but comfortable for two. I don't know about the apartments. There's no kitchen, but we could eat food we'd bought in the breakfast lobby, and they supplied glasses, cutlery and other things. Cleaning was daily; on request they changed sheets and towels and made the beds. The hotel was in good condition, with regular cleaning, lawn mowing and pool cleaning. It's well placed, one block from the pedestrian area and two from the beach. Matías on days and Ezequiel on nights were outstanding, friendly and helpful. We checked out at 10:00 AM but had a 2:00 PM bus, and they let us stay until it was time to leave and held our luggage. Breakfast, though, wasn't very good despite the variety. The fruit salad was only apples, the croissants were greasy and not tasty, and the jam, dulce de leche and butter came in disposable portions. Everything was fresh but lacked flavor, and one day the pudding was dense.

The pool was excellent, clean and well maintained, with nothing broken. There's also a barbecue area beside it with tables and chairs, and Matías and Exequiel supplied cutlery and condiments, which made it easy to enjoy. We spent 10 days here as a family, and the staff made us feel well looked after from the first day to the last. Matías and Exequiel were attentive, helpful and had a great attitude. I think reception is a key part of being a good host, and they handled even small needs really well. The staff's warmth is worth mentioning again. The hotel is clearly renovated and kept clean. Housekeeping was very good, though some guidance on how to request towel changes might help. Our quadruple room was small but laid out well enough for us to be comfortable. One suggestion: the bed headboards weren't anchored, so they moved and made noise at night.

Apartment C had everything we needed, including a kitchen, fridge, microwave and air conditioning in the room, and it was comfortable and clean. Matías at reception was friendly and attentive throughout our six-day stay. The hotel is right around the corner from the shopping center and two blocks from the beach. Breakfast deserves a special mention too: fresh, delicious, varied and really complete. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return to Rideamus Hotel.

The parking was the one drawback, though it isn't the hotel's fault. After 7 pm the area fills with cars heading downtown, so if you drive out, finding a space near the hotel again is hard. Otherwise, the location is great, one block from the center and two from the beach, and the cleaning staff, Matias and Exequiel were all attentive and helpful.
