Babel Hostel

The town is beautiful, and the hostel is in a handy location. The people are so nice, they make you feel like royalty. Viva Argentina :)

We stayed about four nights, and everything was in good shape and well cared for. The owners were incredibly attentive and ready to help with anything. Our room had everything we needed, and breakfast was included with several choices. There was also a lovely pool and a barbecue area with all the utensils for cooking or heating food. The location is very central. We'll be back soon. Thanks so much for everything.

Breakfast was the only thing that redeemed the stay. The staff's attitude got better the next day when the owner was around. I wouldn't return. We paid $140,000, double the usual-season rate because of high demand for the folk music festival. For that price, I expected at least towels, soap, and toilet paper. There weren't any towels, soap, or toilet paper, and they told me towels weren't provided because of the festival. The rooms were cramped, with partitions thin enough that you could hear absolutely everything. It's a hostel charging like a 3-star hotel, and the price was exorbitant.

I only stayed one night, and ended up wishing I'd made this my destination. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable too, and there was air conditioning. For the quality, the price was surprisingly affordable compared with other places. The owner recommended visiting San Javier. We went and loved it. Hope we can come back. Best regards.
