Payrhof feels like home to us, and we’re already counting down to our August vacation. We’ve been coming here for generations, for 30 years now. The hosts are always friendly and helpful, with a warm family feel. The location is superb, the views are stunning, and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. It’s perfect for a family holiday with kids.

Lovely family-run place, clean and homey, with a good breakfast. The location comes with enchanting views in every direction. Snow chains are a plus, and front-wheel drive helps.

You can get things you need nearby if you’re content with a modest approach, and you can even help out on the farm or buy homemade milk at a great price. The setting is wonderfully quiet and secluded, yet still close to civilization. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, and the balcony views are priceless when the weather cooperates. It did for us, at least... This place really suited me when I wanted peace and quiet.

The rooms were quiet and my room was well insulated. It’s a lovely place for a morning walk, with a friendly host and a good breakfast. Highly recommend it for a family stay.
