It’s simple, pleasant, and clean, with a good breakfast. Schlick 2000, Stubaital Gletscher, and Neustift are close by, and there are lots of good restaurants in Neustift.

We loved our week here and would happily come back. Arenablick is beautifully put together and has everything you might need, with loads of space for four people. It sits on the hillside just beyond the village, with a fantastic view down over Aschau. Great hiking trails are easy to reach, so there’s plenty to do in summer or winter. Thanks again for making us feel so at home and for your hospitality!

We felt very comfortable here. The apartment was well equipped, the view was great, and the hosts were very nice.

After five days here, I can understand why guests recommend this fantastic place so warmly. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and kind. The accommodation in Aschau was spotless and roomy. It had a main bedroom with its own bathroom, two more bedrooms, and a separate shower room. The living room sofa could sleep two comfortably, and the kitchen had everything, right down to a potato peeler, along with an electric oven, plates, cups, and spoons. There’s a lovely view from the balcony, which also has a barbecue. Parking was spacious enough for my van. Zell am See is about an eight-minute drive away. If you’re staying in the village, you’ll need to head down to the lower level for supplies. The main drawback is the uphill road to the accommodation. It can be narrow enough for only one car in places, though I got used to it on the first day. We stayed in August, and in the heat the lack of air conditioning was noticeable. Opening the windows let insects in. I imagine a stay in another season would be wonderful.
