The frustrating part for a foreign guest is trying to work out where to go and what’s allowed. Every sign is only in German, including the hotel’s intranet. You can right-click to translate on a computer, but in a spa hotel you don’t have your phone with you, so it’s really annoying. How hard would it be to make the signs bilingual? To be fair, the staff spoke good English, but still. There’s plenty to like here. The room was spacious, with good amenities and a wonderful view, and the food was great at breakfast, snack time, and dinner. The rooftop lounge was magnificent: warm water in the infinity pool, your head in the cold, clear mountain air, and that view. Then there was the panoramic sauna, followed by complimentary juice and snack nuts. Such a luxurious experience.

The sky lounge is beautiful, and the spa in a separate building is lovely too. Rooms get cleaned every day. It’s a nice hotel right in the middle of town. I was puzzled that almost every sign in both the spa and hotel was only in German.

The hotel spa and Eurotherme are available throughout your stay at no extra cost, which is great, though the place is a bit pricey. The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent, and the staff are great: attentive and helpful. It’s a beautiful hotel.

We were just walking past this quiet hotel, known for its thermal spa. The “love” signs all over the place give it a romantic feel. We liked them.
