Hotel Reiters Supreme

The setting is impressive, surrounded by pure nature, and the owner seems to be constantly present, leaving a professional, empathetic, visionary mark. We spend a few days each year at a wellness hotel and take holidays in hotels around Europe, but the friendly spirit at Reiters really stood out. Everyone was welcoming and smiling. The food was excellent and mostly homemade, and the different rooms and corners were lovely in both design and feel. This is our best experience so far.

There are walking and biking routes just outside the hotel, and the surrounding nature is stunning. In the evenings, the bar had live piano and band music that made for a warm, elegant atmosphere. The food was a highlight, with lots of homemade choices at breakfast and dinner, and the steak dinner was especially delicious. The spa and sauna spaces were beautifully designed and deeply relaxing. A peaceful, luxurious wellness break, and highly recommended if you want to unwind and enjoy great hospitality.

The food presentation caught our eye as much as the excellent quality and wide selection. Everything from breakfast through the evening felt like a culinary experience. We spent two nights here with my wife, and it was extremely positive. The spacious, clean room, friendly staff, and large green grounds with pools at different temperatures all felt just right. An experience I wish everyone could have.

We enjoyed the spa and pool facilities and had a great getaway. But the room fell short of what I’d expect from a five-star hotel. It hadn’t been cleaned properly: there was fluff and dust in the wardrobe, on the bedside tables, and on the floor. At more than 400€ a night, I’d expect better cleaning.
