Appartements & Chalets Wiesenruh

We spent a lot of time on the balcony, with its stunning view of the Zugspitze. It was lovely for breakfast, a glass of wine in the evening, or just reading, and the dark skies made the stars a treat too. Gästehaus Wiesenruh also worked well as a base, with Füssen, Plansee, and other places about a 30-40 minute drive away. Our host spoke fluent English, kept everything in great shape, and pointed us toward local sights, including Linderhof Castle. Inside, the apartment was spotless and nicely laid out. The double bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed, including a dining table. The bathroom was small but attractive, with a modern shower and a heated towel rail.

Families especially would feel right at home here. There’s something to make everyone comfortable, and the whole experience felt so accommodating and all-inclusive. We can’t wait to come back. Honestly, now I’m wondering why I’m telling anyone about this gorgeous little gem 😈

We’ve already spent two holidays here, and the owners are lovely, always ready to help. The kids are made very welcome, with a bed set up for them and a big playground right outside the apartments. There’s also a playroom, a washing machine in the main building, free Wi-Fi throughout, and a terrace for each apartment. The place is clean and everything works. The kitchen has all the essentials, including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and toaster. Bathrooms have been renovated and come with hairdryers, and the beds are really comfortable. We love this property and recommend it. I wish every place were like this!
