The staff were friendly, and both breakfast and the restaurant food were really good. The room, though, was very warm. There was no air conditioning, just a shaky fan, and we couldn't leave the window open overnight because it faced a busy, loud street. That's why I gave it three stars.

Unexpected illness can happen to anyone, but even though I contacted the owner ahead of time because we had to cancel our stay due to covid, they wouldn't waive the fee. We had to pay 50% of the original price. In retrospect, I'd have picked a more expensive hotel with fairer cancellation terms and better customer service. Hopefully this helps make other people aware.

The bed was firm, and the lamp was missing its pull cord. There were also strange brown marks on the ceiling and a terrible smell from somewhere. Apart from those things, it seemed fine.

The kitchen serves excellent local food, and the staff there were really friendly. The rooms felt a little old-fashioned, but they were fine for one night. A friendly, cozy place.

Breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. A lovely hotel.
