The views from the balcony and every window were amazing. It’s almost at the edge of the village, so the apartment is very quiet, but shops are still an easy walk away, and you can take the local bus to the ski resorts. The place in ehrwald was lovely, very clean and well kept. The owners were friendly and helpful, and even left us a welcome gift.

We felt right at home from the warm welcome. The hosts were incredibly friendly, explained everything well, and were always available when we had questions. The cottage was spacious, spotless, and perfectly maintained, with all the amenities we needed. Its location was fantastic too, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the slopes. I’d love to come back.

The location is great for long walks and trips to other towns, and there’s a lovely wood you can stroll through near the park, about three minutes away. Supermarkets, restaurants, shops, and bakeries are easy to reach. The house sits in a tidy, clean residential area with no through traffic, so it’s very quiet. We stayed in the “Zugspitze” apartment with three adults and two dogs. The huge balcony had a phenomenal view, just as the name suggests. The apartment was lovingly furnished and very clean. The kitchen is small but very practical, with everything needed for daily use, including a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, sharp knives, and more. Even with warm weather outside, the bedroom stayed pleasantly cool. There were plenty of fresh hand and bath towels, plus essentials like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee filters, paper towels, dish soap, cleaning cloths, and a vacuum cleaner. The grounds are exceptionally well cared for, with lovely flowers, herbs, fruit trees, and small raised beds. Mrs. Schretter’s homemade cake was a special treat. We were warmly welcomed by the Schretter family and felt comfortable right away.
We paid €100 a night for four people, which felt like an unbeatable price. Our apartment looked out toward the Daniel, while the other apartment has a view of the Zugspitze. It’s a lovely little place for up to four, with everything from wardrobes and a TV to a double bed and double sofa bed. The Schretter family even gave us homemade cake. The only things we missed were an oven and a two-burner cooktop.
