My wife and I stayed here last week, and we felt so unwelcome that we’d never want to come back. The owner was at reception when we arrived and came across as rude, unhelpful, and unwelcoming. At breakfast the next morning, she went around with the coffee pot topping up the German-speaking guests, but ignored us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, which makes the experience all the more disappointing.

The area is great, and the rooms are nice. I’d been concerned about the road right in front of the hotel, but the triple-pane windows did the job. The restaurant food was very good, though it could have been warmer when served. Breakfast had just one waiter for the whole buffet, which wasn’t enough.

The hotel itself is lovely, an old, beautiful place right by the Danube, though it’s across the road from the river. The waiter was super friendly and the food was good. It felt a bit expensive, though. Don’t count on a large cappuccino or homemade cookies.

The restaurant serves good-quality food, and the service is friendly and on point. It’s a small family-run hotel by the Donau, with rooms that have good amenities. Definitely worth staying if you’re in the area! ⭐️

I’d never recommend this hotel after my stay. The room felt very humid, and on arrival the place smelled like a retirement home. The furniture and appliances seemed at least 20 years old, and the whole hotel looked like a museum. During breakfast, a sales event next to the dining room brought loud presentations and hand claps right alongside the meal. Ridiculous and almost disgusting.
