We were staying in Astegg and ate at the restaurant twice, though we didn’t stay overnight at the gasthof. The food was really good both times, and the hostess was lovely. We enjoyed our visits.

We only came to Astegg for dinner, but the service was good and the prices fair. There was a good choice of wines, and the food was very good too. I’d recommend it and hope to return.

Just what you want to eat after a good hike. The food apparently comes from local farmers, which makes it even better. Affordable, with perfect outdoor seating and really friendly staff! 🙌🏻💪🏻
