Really good value for money, with a tidy room and a very friendly hostess. While we were hiking, we could leave some of our things there and pick them up again a week later. We could even do laundry.

Breakfast had enough for what I needed, and the rooms were clean, even if a bit rustic. A really nice guesthouse.

The location was probably the strongest point, though the main road noise is worth bearing in mind. The pillows were really bad, and the hostess was super unfriendly on our first day. Communication, both verbal and non-verbal, could definitely be better.

The common room was fine, and the rooms felt cozy enough, though they were pretty standard for the price. Breakfast was basic, but having the ski bus stop right outside every 30 minutes was handy. I gave it four stars partly because of the cost: about €107 a night for a double room with breakfast, which is unbeatable in Finkenberg and the surrounding area.
