Breakfast on the terrace, looking out at the mountains and hiking spots, was my favorite part. Theresienhof is close to the lake but away from all the bustle. The owners were attentive and so welcoming that we felt more like we were visiting friends or family than staying somewhere.

We spent a peaceful late April stay here, just the two of us. The host was lovely and made us feel welcome. It's a quiet, beautiful place with a great view, and there are plenty of nearby spots to walk or hitchhike. A great choice for a relaxing holiday.

We couldn't make it here for two years because of Covid, but this is still our home away from home. We love the area and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff treat us like family and do all they can to make the stay great. We always bring our two large dogs. In the military, we had a saying that fits them perfectly: "SECOND TO NONE"
