The kids were already asking to return after our first visit, and now that we’ve stayed with the Fischbacher family for a second year, we know we’ll be back. They remembered the trampoline, the garden and that cozy, homelike feeling. Ofentürl is about a five-minute drive from the center of Flachau, which suited us, and it’s only 30 seconds from the main road, handy for day trips around the area. The Hafner family made us feel welcome throughout, always smiling and ready to help. Our apartment was spotless and comfortable, with two large bedrooms, very good beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The oven came in especially handy for making breakfast and dinner. There’s plenty for children to do, including a trampoline, swings, a slide and ball games outside, plus an indoor playroom with toys, coloring, dolls and a PlayStation for older kids. Bikes for different ages are available to rent, and guests can use the sauna. We tried the optional breakfast and thought it was among the best we’ve had in Europe, fresh, tasty and nicely presented. The owners clearly put a lot of care into the details. We also used the laundry service: about €20 for a large load, returned clean, dry and neatly folded. The whole setup works really well for families.

Kerstin was a big help when we needed to change our booking, thanks so much. The accommodation is lovely and new, right near the main Highliner cable car to Zauchensee. Breakfast was delicious, the staff were nice, and the wellness area is small but peaceful. We’ll be back. Petr

The hosts really stood out for how attentive they were. When we asked about restaurants, they gave us recommendations and printed the full menus for both places. We also needed towels for a SPA visit, and they offered bathrobes and quickly found the right sizes. We spent six nights here and would gladly recommend it. The apartments have everything you need, including a stove, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher. Breakfast was beyond praise, and the saunas, bicycles and parking were all included. Five stars, easily.

We had a lovely stay in a spacious, clean and comfortable room, furnished nicely and with a balcony looking out over the mountains. The hotel sits beside a little stream with mountains all around. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was friendly.

The host was so kind and helpful during our week there. I have celiac disease, and every morning he made me different gluten-free bread options. Whenever we had a question, we got a detailed explanation, always with a smile. Our room was really big and had everything, including a nice kitchen for preparing things ourselves. Breakfast costs extra, but it’s worth it. I loved the hotel, the views and the location. Everything felt perfect 👍👍 5 stars, easy.
