We felt extremely welcome from the minute we arrived, and the place is truly lovely and family friendly. The traditional Austrian style gives the hotel a lot of charm. Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always ready to assist. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and dinner was tasty, nicely prepared, and strongly traditional Austrian in style. The location is convenient too, close to both the ski lift and city centre. My one small downside was no air-conditioning and no way to adjust the room temperature. Otherwise it was a fantastic five-star stay. Highly recommended, we’d happily return.

The team running this small hotel were very friendly, and the room looked just like the website photos. The bathroom was nice too, with high water pressure and fast WiFi, both things I like in a hotel room. There’s no air-conditioning, which would have been nice. It’s easy to reach with plenty of parking, but it’s close to the road for the Spieljoch cable car, and that road was busier than I’d hoped. The restaurant is comfortable and the service attentive. I liked the breakfast selection, though I saw things run out at both meals without being replenished. It wasn’t a big deal, but it stood out. Dinner portions could have been a bit bigger for me. Zillertal itself isn’t quite our thing. I prefer the Montafon.

The balcony had an amazing view and the room was clean. The staff were kind, but the TV channels didn’t work. We’d booked for two people and were only given one pillow. Breakfast runs from 7 until 9. Still, for a good price, there are good options 👌

The staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was generous, and dinner tasted great. This family-run three-star hotel makes a great base for biking or hiking around the Zillertal.
