Nikol, the mamma of the house, fills the place with loving energy. It feels like a home for book readers, with real respect for book culture. I just love this place. Stay awhile, read, and enjoy some quality time with yourself in the wonderful landscape.

The staff were lovely, the rooms spotless and cozy, and breakfast had everything we needed. We spent two separate nights here with a friend and our dog. The hotel sits just below the mountain and has fabulous views. It’s a small village, so you can get everywhere on foot. The dog charges were the downside: €15 per night plus another €15 end-of-stay fee. If you stay just one night, that comes to €30 for the dog, which I think is a bit excessive.

Best stay of the holiday. This beautiful adults-only hotel is quiet, with stunning mountain and lake views. They call it a pension because there’s only a little service, but the lady there was great. I’d happily stay again anytime!

The setting is beautiful, and it’s a quiet, friendly place. But it feels like the poor relation to the larger place next door. Breakfast didn’t have much choice.
