We had four lovely nights here. The valley views are beautiful, the apartments are large and perfectly clean, and the sauna is great, with a view of the valley while you cool down. The furniture is rather old, though it didn't bother us; the owner should plan a renovation before it starts to trouble some guests. The staff provided excellent service throughout and were always ready to help. The food was among the best I've ever had. Dinner came with a choice of three mains, plus salad buffet, soup and dessert. Breakfast was delicious too, though the selection didn't change much. I'd recommend this place for a pleasant holiday in Montafon. A small tip for Czechs and Slovaks: the staff all speak Czech and Slovak, so you don't need to worry if you don't speak German or English.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food and beer were nice. We loved the breathtaking views and friendly staff. We'd definitely come again and use the hotel as a base for a mountain biking holiday.

The food was very good and the beds comfortable. The hotel is showing its age, though, and clearly hasn't been renovated in years. Still, the friendly, hard-working staff and the lovely view from the terrace and conservatory earn it four points, and the price for what you get is good. It needs major investment soon to stay competitive with other hotels.
